Welcome to Trad Gang!
I know I've had quite a few people ask me about my Trad Gang T shirt the past few months at shoots in FL, GA, and PA. I would like to think that had something to do with it .......... but I doubt it. LOL!!! :biglaugh:
Welcome New Members
I think the site promotes itself. I know at least for me, I have gained a ton of knowledge and made some good friends through Trad Gang. It seems that Traditional Bowhunting is growing, and hunters are seeking as much information as possible.
I agree with Matt. Tradgang offers a ton of information and comradery.. I also think there is a big uptick in interest in traditional equipment. Lots of great podcasts from the stick bow chronicles, the PUSH etc are really getting a lot of traction on social media. Great times!
There are now multiple podcasts that cater to the traditional crowd and a few high profile people who have switched to traditional equipment. There is a lot more buzz out there now about hunting with traditional equipment. I think it is natural for them to search for information about how to get started with traditional gear and seek like minded people. It's growing at a fast rate.
Well if that is the case then that is great.....
We have done a couple Podcast with these people and help promote them.....
And it's nice to see it coming back since we were here before YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, pod casts, vlogs, and smart phones!!!!
Welcome all!
That's good news. I see many posts on FB from new to archery folks needing help. Not just USA many countries around the world. I try and steer them to TradGang when appropriate. I feel there are so many more experienced people here to help than may be on FB.
I think a lot regular guys like myself mention the Gang to people we meet. When they take a look for themselves, they see right off what a congenial and knowledgeable group of bowhunters hang out here. Plus, I believe that since the economy has improved, a lot of people now have the money to get into trad.
This could just be me but I find Trad Gang a lot easier to navigate than other sites. I've also found that there is a lot less negative interaction with other members. I only wish I would have joined Trad Gang sooner, I was on 2 other forms years ago for a short time and it just gave me a bad taste for archery forms.

This.
Gotta love TG!
The hotter the fire...Welcome...
Still piling in!!!
I mentioned it to them all. Heard you were offering a 5 dollar referral fee. Hope it's true?
Worthwhile, intuitive posts and valued shared information, in themselves, serve as a prominent recruiting factor
I really enjoy this site, it is what it is because of the people behind it and involved in it. :shaka:
I think trad shooting and trad hunting as well, are on the upswing. As was mentioned, lots of social media exposure including You Tube and podcasts, movies that have a trad archery theme or sub-theme, and yes...even the wild antics of Lars Andersen. :archer2:
I tell people it's the only place I post anymore , doing what I can to get the word out .....

$7.50
Wear my TradGang short brim hat almost everywhere so hopefully that will get you some from Texas.
It is good to see the trend is still going on.
I'll confess, as Supreme Leader and Captain of F. R. O. G I feel compelled to spread the news of our Merry men in tights. And besides it where I post all my F. R. O. G team adventures :biglaugh:
I know for me, this site offers a refreshing brake from our normal hectic world, back the way things use to be in the early sixties. Lots of guys and gals getting away from modern and mechanical, trying something simple yet so rewarding ,steeped with 40,000 years of history. For many here it's not just a hobby it's our life.
I found out why :....
Cause it started again this week.... :bigsmyl:
Welcome to all the new people! 👋

I think it's possible folks are getting turned off by all the gadgets and nonsense that is on the market these days and getting back to their simple roots. Trad is the answer.
Welcome and enjoy the legacy, knowledge and fun.
I cant tell you how many times I tell people abut this site !!!
Nothing but the best of TG I hope it keeps getting new members this is awesome
