Tentatively seeing if there is anyone out there that wants to do a MO adventure hunt. Oct 18th-23 I will be on the 11 point river hunting a remote stretch of wilderness called "Irish Wilderness Area" nestled in Mark Twain national forest. I have the canoe and will be paying for portage up river and a spot to park the car. I am In the St. Louis area. Let me know if you are serious and interested.
that sounds like a great adventure, hope the weather is in your favor.
That sounds like a great time. I'd like to try that but am already booked for that weekend. I'm just outside St Louis.
That sounds really interesting. I was curious about the Irish wilderness when I drove by the turnoff not too long ago. I went on an overnight flat trip on the jacks Fork on that trip. Sure is some beautiful country out that way.
The eleven point is my favorite float stream in MO. I have been down it a half a dozen times. Has more springs and the best crawdads in the state. We used to go in the winter so we didn't have to fight the crowds. If I still lived there I would join you.

Have plans already or would join you. I love the 11 point.
I would love to but can't this year.
