It's part of the process. Kustom King Trailmakers. They sharpen up beautifuly with flat diamond stones. Bear medicine extraordinaire. Love 3 blade heads for black bear👍👍.

Hi Ray,
I am going bear hunting in Manitoba this spring. Very excited about that, because I love hunting bear especially with Ryan Derlago.
I was considering using that three blade as well, but Stos two blades have always worked well on bear so far. I was wondering how much horsepower you need to reliably push three blade broadheads through critters. On the two previous bear I used a 53 lb and a 48 lb recurve bow with Stos tipped Surewood shafts for around 500+ grains. I had complete pass through with both of them.
HA!
I'm right handed so my right forearm looks like a gorilla's and my left forearm looks like I have a chronic case of mange from knives and broadheads. I feel a little stupid when people occasionally notice and ask what happened to my left arm.
John, that's a great lead in to tell them you're a responsible bow hunter.👍
Don't worry about it. The people who count understand exactly what it means. After all, a lot of us look just like that.
