Hi there. I'm looking for a supplier for woven carbon laminations. If there is a sponsor here even better. I use to use OMC but they have since gone out of business. I cant seem to find any anywhere! Any help would be great thanks.

I cant seem to find a website for them anymore. Surely there is some other company out there where bowyers are getting this stuff from?
The word is that Belcher wanted to return to hands on bowyering and has done just that.

That link looks like a OLD site?
What is the stuff at Binghams Archery?
I don't know anything about Carbon fiber
Why are you looking for woven? Is it for cosmetic reasons?
If it's not cosmetic, you might look into using prepeg material, which you can also get in a unidirectional layup.

The purpose is it's used in place of fiber glass. Not just a desired look.
I was curious because the woven reinforcements are a 50% waste of material. If it's structural, it would make sense to use a unidirectional laminate, like the fiberglass it's replacing. All those crossing fibers are not doing much in a device that is moving in one plane only.
Respectively I didnt ask about the performance of woven carbon having used it I am well aware of the product and what can be produced from it.
Original question the supplier I used seems to be no more does anyone know of a different company carrying it? Thanks.
Does Bearpaw make it. Belcher carried a lot of Bearpaw product.
Not to my research I havent found any by them but thanks for the tip it was worth a shot!
Here is a outfit that sells carbon sheet material in addition to prepegs. Sheet stock is pretty spendy. Prepeg laminated to clear glass might work depending on what you have in mind.

You never have to ask, I'm always happy to offer unsolicited info and opinions :smileystooges:
I'll check this out thanks!
You can get it from Dale Stahl.
I've seen Dale Stahl referenced a few times for different products, but have never been able to find any contact info for him. Anybody have that info?
Pretty sure he does not have a website or social media page.
