This was a custom bow made from a premium stave of Pacific yew. The bow is 66" long and pulls 47#@26". It's backed with sturgeon skin, both for aesthetics and for durability. The handle wrap is tanned beaver tail and the tip overlays are buffalo horn. It is finished with tru oil and the string is D97 fastflight.

Nice! Very stylish, professional photo session to boot.
Welcome to Trad Gang, Weylin. That's another beauty but I'm not surprised. Yew and sturgeon makes a great combo and getting to be your trademark. Well done.

Truly a great looking bow.
Thanks for the feedback, ya'll! I appreciate the kind words. I've been sharing my bows for a while on Primitive Archer and I've been meaning to join up over here. Glad I did. :)
Curious about your full draw pic. Are you using a release? And it looks like you are overdrawing, a' la ELB style, or maybe you have a short wingspan? Why the 26" @ 66" designation? Looks like you could pull that sucker to 30"

No release. I'm pulling it about 26" in the pic. I'm anchoring on my cheek. The person I made it for has a 26" draw length and he wanted it to be a longer bow. You're right that it could likely handle a longer draw length just fine. It still shoots really quick at 26" with little to no handshock. I would have made it a little shorter if it were for me.
That is one beautiful bow!
How about some info on the grip, it is really nice.

Thank you. It's tanned beaver tail stained with fiebing's leather dye. It's laced with kangaroo leather lace using a lacing pattern I learned from John Strunk.
