Can we do it?....
This is what we need per year to get over the 1 Million mark for St Judes....
$64,922.22 x 2....
Are ya'll up for a challenge? Total needed is $129,844.66 to put us TradBowhunters at a million for the kids.
We will be needing some new folks to help with this effort, promoting, reminding, cheer leading, help move items to proper forums, and help with the end of the auction by helping Doug and Walt with making sure everyone's money gets in a marked paid.
Post here if you think we can make this happen.
Absolutely. We can do this.
I already have a pile of stuff to auction. I can't really help with any computer stuff, but I can sure be a cheerleader, and I can auction a bunch of stuff and bid on other things.
Wow! This is great.
I am willing to help in any capacity needed.

Simple answer.......yes!

With all the members that we have . If everyone would donate just one dollar we would go a long way to reaching that goal.
Any help i can give is available. Just tell me what you need.
I'm always in for bidding on items, and I still have a lot of bows I need to get rid of.
I don't know how much help I would be on the computer end of things though, but I'll see if I can help.
I can't help much with the computer stuff but I'm down to help with what is within my aptitudes. Who knows...I might even be able to scratch together some more to donate.
Count me in. Happy to help any way I can.

Let's do this!
I have always participated in the St. Jude auction as either a buyer or seller. Always looked forward to it and was disappointed when it was cancelled this year. I would love to see it revived. I've often wondered why interest in the auction dropped off as TG grew in numbers. :campfire:
Bill....it went down with the economy...the records show exact time line.
Just as it did with other national and state org auctions in the outdoor world.
Only 9 replies in 24 hours?....don't think its worth it guys.
I really think, as well as others involved, that it may not be worth it and that maybe its run its course. :dunno:
My tech talents are nil, but I always bid on stuff, and try to win it. If I can win an item I feel good knowing it's for a great cause!!!
I have a bunch of stuff put back for this year's auction, plus in the last 8 months I have lengthened my draw length so now I have dozens of arrows that are an inch too short. I have also lost 35 pounds so I have a lot of high end hunting clothing to donate. I also started building bows and have no interest in shooting my old ones, so I have a half dozen or so bows I will donate. I was planning on selling most of this stuff, but if you hold the auction I will donate all of my surplus gear.
I will participate!
:campfire: We can dooooo it!!!
We can do it!
Yup, I'm in.
let's do it! I have stuff to auction and there's always stuff to buy.
not sure of my capabilities to help with the listed tasks, but I'm game to try.
Our local hospital is a Children's Miracle Network hospital that has really helped my daughter. St. Jude's and CMN are two of the best Charities out there.

Yes! to St. Jude's! I think I have some items I could donate. I've bid on and off over the years. Sent a few more $$ via the auction when I could. Could likely help out in some capacity. Not a computer wiz but I could long on daily and do something most likely.
Tradgang should push for a $1million :archer2:
Terry, I would offer any assistance with Doug/Walt and the reminders. Like others have posted, good for the kids as always but until recently not the expected outcome for total donations/efforts provided.
Lay out what you guys need and if the rest of the gang can make arrangements to facilitate then I for one would hope to continue on with this another year or more.
Thank you, Mike
I have been cleaning out tackle boxes, closets and supplies and will have some good things to offer up.
I can definitely help wherever I'm needed. I'm also working on a couple more "trips" to donate.
I for one would hate to see this tradition die. I know that I've watched participation from both donations AND bids slow down. That said, this tradition is one that I truly feel makes this place special and brings together the TradGang community. Let's keep the tradition alive.
Up to the top for a great cause.

I have a box of good items ready for the auction.
:campfire:
Absolute yes, Anything I can do to help on achieving this goal let me know.
I will start a thread soon titled "What we need" that will address and combat the issues that started with the 2009 auction and the economic problems the auction has faced ever since.
You will see that we will need a little effort to make up....but, now that the economy is coming back we should see a better return on effort by the members.
Again, these same issues plagued other auctions in the outdoor community not just Tradgang.
At least knowing the economic issues over the years means we can attack them.
Anyone want to hunt with Hope?
