Title: New to trad gang and traditional archery

Hello all. Not sure if this is the correct place for this. I'm Mitch I live in S.W Iowa and have been shooting a compound bow for 20 years and I am wanting to simplify (at least my gear). I ordered a starter recurve. It's a Southwest archery spyder xl to get started. I am sure I will have a bunch of new guy questions lol. Can't wait to start flinging some arrows with my new bow.

Welcome, at 64" long she ought to be smooth on the draw. Starting now allows you ample time to refine skills in preparation for season opener on those big Iowa Whitetails!
