Arrowed my first trad gobbler this past weekend.
After failing to recover the previous 2 seasons due to penetration issues, I completely re-evaluated my arrow recipe. Though my bow is 5lbs less this year, my arrow is 150grains heavier and this is the first time using a single bevel broadhead.
Shattered his wing and anchored him right there.

Felt good drawing blood with my one month new double carbon St Joe River Classic Longbow.
Public land, NW Lower Michigan.

He covered that last 30yds very quickly.

Great! What was the broadhead of choice this time? and the arrow weight/GPP? Always curious, as those birds can be tough if not hit in the right spot!
