How do you shape, cut, grind your limb pads on a takedown?
I cut them with a jig on my table saw.
Yep jig on table saw, gets them the most square with riser block...
Just to answer myself, I do it this way. Cut it to the line on the bandsaw and then one pass on the jointer.

If I had a jointer I'd do that too.
I like that safety guard there, Bue..
I rough them out on the band saw and then clamp them in a jig for the profile sander. I had a CNC shop cut out my patterns out of 1/4" aluminum.
I also use bandsaw then jig on profile sander. As of late I have been putting .040 glass after profiling.

I draw my lines on the riser, cut on bandsaw and then flatten the pads on my edge sander.
