Sign up and get the mag....
70 Is too young for a defeatist mentality :readit:
Since when does age dictate our passions Jon? PBS can use a good infusion of youth in our ranks but it is the wealth of knowledge that us "more experienced" guys can bring that help draw those young guys in. Trust me, you'd feel right at home in PBS whether your 30 or 70. And a hunt at Paradise is perfect at any age!
For those that are not sure what the PBS is here is some reading

The membership itself is worth the money that is for sure..... But a chance at The Paradise????....
What traditional bow hunter, if he is so, wouldn't take a stab at that????
What an opportunity!
Paradise sure is a special place that I have had the pleasure of hunting once before.
If you have ever thought of joining the PBS, now is the time!
+1 to what Whip said !
So far I'm the only one to sign up...means I'll have a better chance at paradise. :goldtooth:
Thank you Terry for the endorsement of PBS! I'm a little partial, but as has been said above, the PBS is full of guys just like most on here who are passionate bowhunters that just love to get out and hunt.
Besides the chance at a hunt with some really fun guys, you also get a subscription to the magazine that is excellent. The stories are from some of the best known bowhunters and writers in the world. The PBS' next Biennial Gathering is Mar 12-15, 2020 in Springfield, MO and it is shaping up to be pretty special. There will be a tour of Black Widow bows, some pretty awesome seminars by Gene and Barry Wensel, Monty and Annie Browning, E. Don and Lori Thomas, Gene Hopkins, Rob Patatu, Ethan Rodrique, Jesse Minnish, Tim Nebel, Brad Janson, Jeff Springer, Thaddeus Stager, and banquet speakers E. Don Thomas and a recap of Bryan Burkhardt and Jim Eckout's 60th Anniversary Little Delta Bowhunt. Besides all of the great speakers and guys to just sit around and shoot the breeze with the auction will have hunts offered from all over the world, bows from the best bowyers anywhere, knives by true craftsman, some of the most beautiful custom arrows imaginable, clothing and gear from all the top manufactures, and beautiful handmade custom items donated from our generous membership. It is an event you won't want to miss.
All of the great benefits above and hosted membership hunts with guys you've read about on here and elsewhere. Hunts have been had in Alaska, North Dakota, Nebraska, Kentucky, New York, Georgia, Arizona, Virginia, Utah, and many others.
If you are already a member, Thank You, and sign up a buddy!
With all the great stuff said above, the best thing about the PBS is the folks you meet and the friends you make who all share the same passion.
Jon Stewart,
I'm a member of PBS and the Paradise...plus I'm 73. I guarentee you will enjoy the hog hunt...as hard or as easy as you want! tippit
Jon;
I have been a PBS member since the early eighties. Now 60 years old and it has been a good ride.
