Dave Kretschmar and I hunted the late season last year and had opportunities almost every time in the stand. Low pressure leases and all in all on of my favorite hunts. If someone picks up one of the weeks let me know I'll help to point you to some of the spots we utilized.
Oh yeah Kenny is top notch in every aspect!

Thanks Tim and Ed!! I just want to provide an affordable hunt where you stay . NR or not, lots of times when I hunt close to home I can think of a million things I could be doing at the house or shop. When I go stay on a hunt it takes that out of the equation and I simply hunt. Clears the mind and soul.

We have tons of deer this year, when I pulled the late cams( put up after season to see what's around) , between the two farms I saw 67 deer in one afternoon.

Barring an EHD outbreak there should be a lot more after they drop fawns.

The weekly price is divided up by number of hunters (up to 4) and cabin is about a quarter mile from corner of south lease. A good setup I think...

You think?   A clean, affordable place to stay, a very good setup that is also very affordable, lots of deer, no pressure to shoot "book deer",you shoot what makes you happy......then there is Kenny. He is as good as it gets, I pestered him for a number years before Ed and I got in last year. We really enjoyed his nightly visits. I enjoyed it enough that I actually thought about going back last January after having just been there in early December! (Sharing camp with Big Ed didn't hurt either!)

So yeah, I agree Kenny, it is "a good setup"! Can't wait to get back there this fall!

Got two open, T !!  :)

Guys, don't let the later season scare you off.  I see as many bucks late if that is what you are after, and lots of deer of all sorts.  The thing is on late season, there may be many in a group so there are more eyes to contend with.

And I won't lie about it, if you don't do the homework you may not see any. Feast or famine as they bunch up then.

Still, it is one of my favorite times to be out, no sweat or bugs , and if you happen to be out in a snow event, it is just beautiful to be there....
