Wow, I truly appreciate all the kind words, this community of archers is the best.
Ted Fry,how are you my friend.
Not many get to thank people that are instrumental in helping them pursue lifelong passions,Ted is the guy I looked up to and continuously called when first starting this endeavor of bow building asking advice on building self bows, Ted always had time to answer questions and point me in the right direction, this was all after meeting him and being inspired by his beautiful self bows at Traditional day 1990 in Ontario Oregon, thanks Ted,you're a legend!
For you that don't know, Ted has basically the best artifacts and historical information on the history of our beloved sport out side the P&Y museum in Seattle.
Curt, once again you have raised the bar for what a custom bow should look like.
There are a lot of beautiful bows built by some very talented bowyers, but your's always make me come back and take second and third looks.
We'll have to talk when my son finishes college.
Magnificent!
stunning!
what everyone else said and then some, wow
Thanks for the fine words Curt, glad to have helped spread the bug.
If I am not mistaken and I may be but I think back in those days the fun was at the Boise show for ITB, before it went to Ontario and TBM took over the reins. We have moved from Hood River to our new place in Friend Oregon, way out in the middle of nowhere right up against the Badger Creek Wilderness and the White River game mgt area. Good to see some of the work you have been doing as one guy said you raised the bar a bit . Keep up the great work.
That, Sir is almost too pretty to take into the woods. [attachment=1] [attachment=2]
Dude... That thing is awesome, and would imagine it shoots as good as it looks! Let me know when you start making bows for the public or just have a lefty twin laying around ;).
I don't comment on a lot of threads.......BUT......WOW!!......those colors and grain really POP :clapper:
That would be a bow I would be happy to shoot.......
