I got a small buck two or three years ago. They are a lot of fun to hunt but you need some luck on your side too. Never tried hunting them from a blind, but that is probably a more successful tactic.

DXH... the secret (if there is one) is to find them in/near cover you can use to your advantage. That is more often terrain than any kind of foliage. The buck in the picture was found to be watering at a small stream bordered by willows.

Antelope can be very habitual in their travels and that can be capitalized on.

I took this one a number of years ago in Douglas Wyoming with my Robertson bow. It was one of the best hunts I have been on. Six of us bowhunters went out and all 6 of us tagged out. It was really a great time and great hunt. I hope to go back this year, but this time with my longbow.

Hi Mike those are some very nice Lopes. Did they all come from your state or else where? Also did you spot and stalk or from a water hole or blind? Thanks for sharing.

[attachment=1] Here is a buck I shot back in '97, in Greeley Co. Watched him all day, shot him just before dark. Coyotes found him before I did. Memorable hunt, shared with Lon Lauber, Mike Palmer, Chuck Eisenhower, and Fred Eichler. Gotta get back after em again!

The buck in the picture was taken with a 60# bow of my own manufacture. I've been shooting antelope since I was in my late twenties and back in those days I almost always used bows of 70# and more. I'm sure everyone will tell you you don't need all that weight, it's just what I liked to shoot.

Whatever you like for whitetails will work just fine. They are not a very large  animal.  Shot placement, as with anything, is always key. They seldom get totally out of sight before giving up the ghost.

I've shot them as close as ten yards and a couple quite a bit farther than that.
Like most big game try to get a shot that's 20 yards or less and you'll be golden.

I stalked within 15 feet of the antelope in the picture. Looking him over real good I decided I could do better and let him walk. I watched him walk slowly away and he seemed to grow bigger with every step.

Finally he stopped and turned broadside and I decided I'd made a mistake in judgement. I raised the bow and put an arrow through his heart. I stepped it off later and the shot was made at 30 long paces. Go figure.
