Hey guys, I'm building a fairly curvy three piece hybrid. 15" riser, 60-62" ntn. Tips will be about an inch ahead of the front of the riser. What's a baseline or a range for stack height with 1?5" wide .040 bearpaw clear glass if I'm shooting for anything between 42 and 50 pounds? I'd rather go a bit heavy with this, especially since I can trap down weight. I also think I'm gonna keep the taper rate down to .001" and add a tip wedge but have a pyramid limb.
What's your wedge length?
On my 16 in. riser 12 degree fade with 7 3/8s wedge 62 in. it takes .348 for 42@28 with .oo4 limb taper. looks like this

16" riser, 8" wedge, .003 total taper, 4 wood ,2 glass 64" bow,.320 makes 48@ 28"
So looking at my and Kennys design will tell that you it takes different stuff for each design So kinda do SWAG on the first one and go off that.
Kenny, that's with Gordon glass, right? I'm thinking that with cherry lams at a .002" taper with bearpaw glass, .340 should get me in a good ballpark.
.002 taper may produce a slightly heavier bow. My SWAG would be .330 for 50# on a 64"
Correction! I looked again and it is .325 for 50@28
Alright, I'll probably end up with a .320 with bearpaw glass and cherry core and cross my fingers.
