To facilitate your Journey into traditional bowhunting?
Nothing specifically read, but Santa did give me a food dehydrator and instructions to "get a deer already" so I can use it to make some jerky. I also got some ammo for duck hunting and some gift cards to put to use for bowhunting. Now I just have to decide what to spend them on!
got some trekking poles to help me ascend and descend hill country.[attachment=1]
No archery goodies this year - mostly clothes (non-hunting). Still had lots of fun with the grand kids, which is better than getting a lot of stuff.
Two Heller Rasps for bow making :)
I ordered a half dozen Black Eagle Vintage shafts, some feathers and broadheads from 3Rivers for myself. Does that count?[emoji41]

I have some of those also, I'm not sure if the colors Moss, but they are green. And boy do they work keeping me toasty.
He left me a dvd a pack of single beveled battle axes and a razors edge sharpening system. :goldtooth:

Had a little cash to play with. So, I picked up a Galaxy Ember longbow from Lancaster. Took it for a try yesterday afternoon. No action, but good to be in the woods.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181228/2fcde5d2d8d9738112afa27ca28973ae.jpg)

Got to just love the name battle axe. I have a name reserved for a head I'm designing called The Hatchet.
"Bowhunting: A Passion for Life" by Monty Browning was under my tree. A great book for any traditional archer.

That sounds like something I'd like to try. The hatchet sounds wicked.
Here's a photo of the replacement big river longbow and snowshoes. Also forgot to mention (I think). I had birds on my Bird feeder Christmas morning. The feeder had been out there for some while before it was found. It was incredible to go out and do farm chores and hear all the singing and life.

I was gifted a hunt of my choice for Christmas from my wife. It came down to bear or antelope. I picked a outfitted antelope archery hunt for the August opener.
A new Schrade knife (#2), and a pair of warm socks. And since a new hunting jacket wasn't under the tree, I'll be looking at the asbell line of garments.
Oh, and $75 in Cabela's gift cards.
Bronchitis
Bronchitis? I hope you kept the gift receipt so you can send that present back!
My wife got me a new ladder stand cause she thinks im getting to old to use a climber but im not lol. son got me new set of arctic shield base layers and daughter got me a cabelas outfitter camo vest! made out like bandit lol
For me, a fine Art Vincent pocket quiver to shoot in the backyard.
Nothing-Wife said the way I buy bows I have Christmas year around.
Santa brought me some work overalls, so I brought me some ASAT vanish suit! :bigsmyl:
Not a thing but I believe I can use this to my advantage. So I got leverage for Christmas. It's better than a lump of coal.
[attachment=1]
I'm a little late to the party but I just got these arrows bare shaft tuned and fletched. Picked up a beautiful Super Kodiak from Big Jim and paired it with an Eagles Flight quiver and some FMJ autumn orange shafts. Happy new year.
A little late for Christmas but I just picked up a Lone Wolf sit and climb tree stand from Cabela's for $279.00, a savings of $140.00! Been wanting one for a while.
Some Redhead 70some% wool socks
Lots of stuff for the woods. Time to visit family, some great meals, the birth of Jesus, and some time off work to enjoy it all.
Got a pretty new Schafer!
My wife got me this new scouting partner. She was a return/rescue to the kennel. Has a few issues but we're working things out. Had to put my 10 yr old (shed hunting phenom) male Lab down in July.
Santa was great, my wife and I went and spent 4days with my son and 2 Grandkids. Sorry no trad stuff but it don't get any better then this for me.
