Title: Dirt Nap D.R.T. 4-Blade Screw-In Broadheads
Post by: frassettor on December 05, 2018, 03:17:24 PM
I'm looking for any experience with these broadheads.  I'm looking for a 150 grain screw in Broadhead, I had Seen these on one of our sponsors websites and was just curious if anyone has any experience with them

I haven't shot them but am having good success with this 150 grain head.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181206/4504e9ee55282b150fa403c116fdfd7e.jpg)

I tried them (DRT 4 blade) and to be honest there is many other better option. In my experience they don't hold hard impact with curling tip pretty easily and are quite noisy in flight. They dull quite easily as metal is rather soft. On a more positive side if if it is important to you you can get them in fancy colors and single bevel.

I picked up a pack of these over the summer.  Like said previously, poor quality - fit, finish, edge, etc.  They just felt cheap.  Sent them back for refund.

Similar experiences. Several better options. Looked appealing but didn't hold up; destroyed with rocky soil and tip curling even in soft dirt. Loud in flight as well.

I have not used them, but my wife ordered some and I am not impressed. I understand that some broad heads may not be surgically sharp out of the package, but these are as dull as a butter knife and rough as can be. The edges are rough enough that they look like they had been shot into gravel. That is unacceptable quality in my opinion. It could be a fluke deal, but we won't be ordering anymore of them.
