I have only had 4 days off from work in the last 10 months, so I wasn't going to be choosy when I got out of work in time to get in a tree. Last light turned what I thought was a decent doe into a spike. Should be plenty tender. Had to christen my latest Stickflinger, anyway.[attachment=1]
Sweet, Pat! Congrats on making your available time count.

Congratulations! I'm glad that you were able to make meat with such limited hunting time. Your harvest gives 2 examples of why I am against Antler Point Restrictions (a hot topic here in Michigan).
You had only 4 days to hunt, and you were able to take advantage....what at first was a doe turned out to be a spike. APR's would have had you going home empty handed.
Very happy for you
Well Done all the way around....
That's a beautiful deer, bow, quiver, and PIC :clapper:
good work!
 congratulations! Great eating
:clapper: and what Roger Norris said.
Well done! Until recently my hunting days have always been very limited each season.
Good job! Ive done the same thing, those spike antler just blend in with the ears.
Nice work!
:clapper: nicely done Pat. Congrats! Should taste every bit as good as a doe. Enjoy your rewards of a good hunt!
Umm. One inch steaks in a cast iron skillet, s & p and a generous blob of butter.
What time is dinner? I'll bring wine.
Congrats Pat!
Congratulations!

It is a TallTines Stickflinger. Zircote riser with Bolivian rosewood flare, and figured myrtle limbs.
And thanks everyone.
