Title: Deer Season in Washington?
Post by: jvs9932 on November 24, 2018, 03:03:18 AM
I was hoping to get to my buddy's property in WA this December but it's just not gonna happen. I looked through the WDFW website and see the late season archery only blacktail deer season ends on Dec 31 but I can't find any dates for 2019. Do any of you happen to have a link for or know the dates for 2019?

Thanks!
John

They will not have the 2019 hunting Regs. until Around April 2019. The WDFW evaluates each year so they can make changes to the Regs.. They set the rules for a 3 year plan but if the population drops to low it is changed. This year in some units where we could hunt Spike Bull Elk & Antlerless for the entire early season they changed it to Spike Bull only for the first week then added antlerless for the last week of the season on a general tag. If you pay more and put in for a any Elk tag and are drawn you could hunt any Elk.

Thanks Broken Arrows! Since my Dec hunt in WA fell through, I was hoping they might offer some time in January, but I will have to wait a bit longer. Fingers crossed I can close the deal in OR in a little while!
