Nice photos Drew.
What drew forgot to mention is these things shoot great!!! The looks speak for themselves
Thanks charlie
Nice bow Rick
Thanks Drew. What woods are in yours?
That's a beauty of a bow! :clapper:
Rick : I didn't order that one , just bought it from Jim at his shop . I was looking at the riser and Jim said there should be limbs on the table so I picked a set and went to shooting. The riser looks like maybe Macasser ebony and something else :dunno: with black and white ebony on the limbs.
Thanks Steve
Drew, it's so dark in the picture that it's hard to say for sure... but I think the dark wood is wenge. The lighter wood is koa.
BigJim
some fine lookin sticks right there :notworthy: i might have to have a talk with jim
Well Drew this might of been a bad idea to ask you to post photos I now think Big Jim will be getting a call to get on the list for one. thank you Drew.
Blake : I don't think I'm ever off the list , my next one will be a two piece buff and just as black as Jim can make it .
Thanks Jim
Those are some sharp looking bows gents. Never had the pleasure of trying one of Jim's bows. Does the shooting experience match the looks?
Drew how long is the riser?
about 16" maybe a hair less
pointer : They shoot every bit as good as they look and then some .
thank you!
anytime
hey drew:
with that 16in. riser can that bow be had in a 66in. length?
I think 64" is the longest he has made but you could ask him. Drew
My draw is 31" if you are worried about that don't be.
I have done them in 66", but shoot a 64" myself... with a 32" draw.
BigJim
That walnut and koa one I posted is 66" I like that one a lot.
