I picked up a LeClair Shrew and an Elburg Cherokee Mite at an estate auction tonight. I was very happy to take them home. Both look to be in really good condition. No scratches or damage besides some wear on the shelf. I can't wait to test them out tomorrow. I also bought a box of Selway quivers. There was a 3rd leather one in the box but it went home with a friends son.
Any information about the bows would be appreciated. I think Elburg was located not to far from me.

Those are some cool bows, good find!
Some nice history there!
Harry Elburg lives over by Kent, his bows have a cult following, he was very innovative. I killed one of my first bow killed buck with one of his reverse handle longbows, I don't remember the model, he had a bunch of designs. He invented the Grizzly, Kodiak, and Cheetah broadheads, as well as Thunderbird finish. He does a lot of painting now I hear.
Great find Clint...
Ha! Jeremy is correct on the Elburg cult following... admitted member here... and have been since the early 90's... Harry was ahead of his time in so many ways...

That unstrung profile of the Elburg is killer, lots of things i like
