I took off work today and went to a new spot,had the place all to myself. 75 yards from the Jeep ran into a coyote, I saw him before he saw me. He was going from one end of a pond to the other.
I eased up to the pond and spotted a doe bedded on the other end. So I got behind the dam and started her way, ran into the coyote, he didn't know what to make of me, was wearing an ASAT leafy suit. So he takes off back towards the doe and I followed closely. He ran behind her and she stayed bedded and watched him long enough for me to get twenty yards from her.
Then the wait begins, after 15-20 minutes I decided to try and get her to stand up with no luck she just stared at me so then I took a step towards her and jumped up and ran, never giving me a shot.
Oh well it was good practice and a lot of fun. Then I found a huge shed, well huge for this area anyway.

sounds like a fun day, I like sneaking up on deer. its amazing how close you can get before getting busted. :thumbsup:
