Wishing you all the safest and most productive season.
Favorite time of year by far...hoping everyone has safe and successful times afield this season..
Same to ya , be safe...
,,Sam,,
Today was our season opener, and I had jury duty. Finall got away about 3:30, ran home, changed into my hunting clothes and grabbed by bow, quiver, and seat cushion. For these kind of days, I have a ladder stand about 200 yards from my back deck. I went straight to it and sat till near dark. Didn't see anything today except some pretty cardinals feeding and a couple of squirrels, but I was out there, and it is AUTUMN and it is BOW SEASON! So I was glad just to be there, and I'll be back...
Fall is absolutely the best time to be in the woods. Unfortunately we skipped fall and dove into winter.

Absolutely the best time of the year!
Yooper traveler, I drove through that snow Sunday night on my way to Houghton. Sure was fun!
My favorite time of the year as well. Opening week happened to coincide with the foliage peak in NE VT.

Gorgeous photos
God saw fit to bless my family with 3 deer in the past 3.5 days of hunting. That burned the last of my vacation but it was great to get outside and spend time with family.

I've had several sits in snow this year already. Some years we get nailed in September, sometimes it's like this. Wait until February lol.
Finally cool in South Carolina :goldtooth:
Garrett,
Congratulations on the deer.
