Title: Arrow holder for heavy arrow and no shelf

I'm looking for ideas for an arrow holder for a heavy arrow (700+gr) on a bow with no shelf.

It will have to be something I can make up myself easily as I'm in Australia and getting something from the US would be cost prohibitive, and would prefer it to be removable so I don't have to cart it around through the thick stuff when not required.

Maybe the old match stick & rubber band trick?
May have to play around with the strength of rubber band and type of stick.

I've also seen some guys take a rubber band and tie a knot in one end.
Then they wrap the band around the bow & arrow.
The band is secured by taking the other end of the band and slipping it under the knot.

I like that, thanks, very simple and easy! Will have a play with some options to see what works.
