I was recently approached by our own "BowhunterGa" (Steve Angell) about doing a Podcast with "Traditional Outdoors". Being an older guy I can tell there is a lot I don't know about Podcasts. I admit that the first thing that comes to mind is groups of killer whales and spinfishing gear. Of course that is wrong and I was soon to find that it's a very enjoyable format for taking in all kinds of information. I'll be listening to a lot more as time goes by and the fact that my own interview is number 28 means I'll be going back and catching up... seems I'm always catching up to something.
And Traditional Outdoors is a lot more than just interviews to listen to. They've also got a whole YouTube thing going on. These guys are sharp and know what they are doing so check out their website. Here's a link... https://www.traditionaloutdoors.com/2018/09/23/traditional-outdoors-podcast-episode-28-the-powwow-poet-of-trad-gang-charlie-lamb/ (https://www.traditionaloutdoors.com/2018/09/23/traditional-outdoors-podcast-episode-28-the-powwow-poet-of-trad-gang-charlie-lamb/)
Thanks Charlie. I'll look forward to checking that out.

For those that have never listened to the podcast you do not need anything special to listen just go to the link Charlie provided and there is a media player at the bottom of the post.
Podcasts are audio only, think of them as more like a radio show or interview.
If you want to be notified of future episodes that is when you need to use your phone or tablet, decide on a podcast app you want to use and then subscribe. We also provide links to many of those on the website. Pretty easy stuff.
Roy... yeah I'll probably get invited to all kinds of Hollywood parties. I'll be hangin with J lo and that gal with the big fat butt. Spoiler! I don't do my own stunts.
Ya I can see you at Hollywood and Vine street now when they put your gold star in the sidewalk. LOL

Roy thanks for putting my name on a Hollywood star. I wish I would have gotten Charlie Lambs autograph before he became a superstar

It was a great podcast Charlie!
Listened to it today - really enjoyed it Charlie....
Charlie,
You being buddies with Vance and having spent so much time out west, I'd have thunk your first thought would have been whales on a fly at rod. Now that would be fun!
Yeah Walt! Maybe a royal coachman but what size?
Charlie,
The royal Coachman was always my dad's favorite fly in Idaho. When I moved from Idaho to Montana the Royal Wulff worked better. As a general rule, west of the dive I have better luck using the Coachman and east of the divide I have better luck with the Wulff. Considering the size of whales, you might be better off using a Chubby Chernobal.
