Just went to the Simmons page to check out the Treesharks again and noticed that they have a new broadhead out.
Has anyone used this head yet? It looks great. What do you guys think?

I did for my spring bear hunt this year. Two shots two dead bears. Both about 60 yards. No tracking needed. Great heads just like all the simmons. I used a 50# at 26" toelke super d
to clarify, recovery 60 yards not shot! :biglaugh:
How does it differ from the Treesharks?
Been itching like the weight too!
treeshark is a 2" wide head. This is basically a unvented tigershark. 1 9/16 i believe. 190 grains. A little smaller hole but equally as deadly.
I like the look of that a lot! Might have to pick up a pack since I've already destroyed 2 of the 3 Zwickeys I picked up to play around with.
Look great - wish they were an even 200 grains, not that those 10 grains are likely to matter.
Great looking head
It does look like it would make a nasty hole! :scared:
I'm liking them a lot! Dave must have named them after our swamp adventures down here in South Mississippi and the F.R.O.G Team.
It take a mean head to dispatch a rogue Bullfrog on a charge :scared:
I'll probably stick with my treesharks but it's a good looking head! I think they're 1 5/8" cut.
is that a glued in insert or a one piece head,, all of them spin test perfect no slight wobbles?
Going to try some of these.
Looks like a Landshark without the vents.
My guess is it is a one piece head. I have a few Simmons heads and they spin true, so I would suspect these will too.
A solid tigershark, 15 grains heavier I believe.
Another great looking broadhead from Simmons.
Just ordered a 3 pack. Hopfully I can test them out on a bear soon.
Jeremy
Ordered a pack of those for my longbow and a pack of makos to try on my other bow
Orderd some yesterday, can't wait to try them Oct 1.
Does anyone know if they are hunting sharp out of the package?

I don't think there are many heads out there that are truly sharp out of the package. A lot of guys use the RADA sharpener that is on the Simmons website. I use a paper wheel sharpening system for mine.
After being a Zwickey or Snuffer shooter for years, I finally ordered some Simmons SB20 135g 1 9/16" Land Sharks to try. The results guys post with these Sharks are impressive, just had to try! Looking forward to shooting them some then hunting with them this fall.
