Earlier today the mailman delivered my bow bolt takedown Toelke Chinook. The bow is 60" 48#@28", micarta and Bocote 4iser with stunning Myrtle limb veneers. To say I'm impressed with this 50's style recurve is an understatement. Aside from the typical superb Toelke craftsmanship this beauty is super smooth, very quick and as quiet as any longbow I've ever shot.
They shoot as good or better than they look!
Congratulations Fred that tree has had more New bows leaning against it that I lost count at 50! :biglaugh:
Surprised I didn't get a text today lol...
Congrats, beautiful bow. Got a call this am from Dan he's a week out on completion of my whip HS. My third. The Toelke's have it ALL right in my book.

What a beauty!
very nice
Hard to beat a chinook.
Looks great Fred!
Thanks guys. I know it's only been 2 days but in my opinion there is nothing not to like about this bow, it's that good!!
Very nice good luck with it love my Toelke bows
I recently picked up a 58" chinook TD (2 months old) and it is a sweet shooter. Does Dan make a 56" chinook?
:o
Beautiful bow Fred! Is it going to be your go to bow this season?

I have a 56"er from Dan it is also whisper quiet. My go-to hunting bow and I love it. Best of luck.
Thanks again guys. This bow is definitely a shooter and Dan's standard grip with the thumbrest is my favorite. Can't get enough of shooting this bow! My Rose Oak is definitely getting jealous :biglaugh:
Fred :readit: You better treat "Rosie" with respect or else you get this :deadhorse:
I'll treat her right so divorce her and kick her to the curb :biglaugh:
Keefer, "Rosie" is still my first love but every now and then you need some "nookie" :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
:saywhat: Well now I had no idea :dunno: :nono:
:biglaugh: Now I know what to call your New Toelke
"Rosie" has prettier curves
That's nice Fred. Congratulations!
