It took me a while to get an arrow tuned, finally figured out a combination that fly pretty good but it ended up a lot heavier than I wanted. Went and shot at my club, it's definitely a keeper! Ordered some.450 spine, think I'll be able to get it closer to 10gpp that way! Can't wait to go up to the High Country Shoot with it next weekend and really ring it out!

Got her pretty well dialed in for now, will try a slightly weaker arrow and lighter point weight when I get back from the big shoot next weekend!
I'm loving the look of this new bow!
Dan makes awesome bows!
Sweet!! We do need a full draw pic tho!
Another beauty by the Dan & Jared team!!

Might be a while, I'm back to work and headed out to a big shoot on my next days off
So, a little technical data. Arrow I ended up with weighs 588gr. Bow is 40#@28", I draw 31" so I estimate that to be around 49# at my draw length. The math there works out to 12gpp for the arrow and I was getting a consistent 160-161fps through the chronograph. I tried .500 spine and couldn't get anything to work in a safe weight, moved to .400 spine and eventually got really good flight, but damn heavy. Ordered some .450 spine in the same shaft and will play around with them later. Hoping to end up with an arrow that shoots same speed as my heavier draw Toelke Lynx that I will use to hunt elk with in a couple months.
A two piece may have to be in my future! Been looking for a bow that may be similar to my Kanati that I can get in a 2 pc. What a beauty!!
That's a really nice looking bow. Is that a longer Pika?

Pretty much, go to their website and they tell a little about it
Made another string to get dialed in. ASL ended up being a half inch more than I expected based on past experience with Toelke longbows. Made a short video that shows string and bow end to end.
