Watch at your own risk as at least twice you will get a glimpse of my underwear. Kidding aside, excuse my sloppiness as I shoot my new limbs. At almost 10gpp they are the fastest I have ever put through a chrony. Someone else with better release and perhaps a tab could get higher numbers I am sure.

I continue to be impressed by Morrison MAX limbs.
WOW :goldtooth:
Not the least bit surprised
Great video, love the kids commentary just like at my house.. :clapper: :clapper:
Impressive. What draw length, bow weight and arrow weight? I have a bow that shoots just around 189-190fps with a 730gr arrow. Bow is 70#@28" but I don't draw that far.
Very impressive! :archer2:
Think he said 46# at his 28" draw.
That's smoking fast.
I applaud your courage at putting a target and chrono in your living/dining room. If I did that, my life would be ended for me... :biglaugh:
Cool......but in the living room......... :biglaugh:
Are you overdrawing? Seems like a difficult way to anchor and look down the shaft.
Were you baby sitting and moms not home ....ha ? You may get more speed if you take every thing off the bow and string . That's pretty fast !

The wool silencers and mufflers have never made more than 2 or 3 fps difference in the numerous comparisons I've done.

Could you explain what you mean (as far as my anchor goes?) I draw 28 inches, I have verified that by marking my arrows
Yes, at 0.56 it seems your anchor is somewhere back near your ear, maybe you anchor there all the time, but for me it would place my eye way left of the arrow shaft. I would be over drawing by doing that.
The super recurves, Max 5, Border Hex, Uukhas X-Curves, suffer from more string noose due to the string wrapping around the curves.
The best I have found are the Mountain Mufflet strings that Steve makes.
I am a Border Covert Hunter fan but for an ILF, the Max 5 is a nice alternative to the Border ILF. They are on par with Border Hex 7 limbs.
With the big curves, stay within recommended ranges for brace height and draw length for riser / limb combo.
Never met a super recurve I didn't like. And Steve does make a great string. I'm shooting a Mercury and a X-99 on two similar setups of Max5 SS limbs. It is a clear choice so far, either one at this time.
