Has anyone used em? I want to stock up on zwickey's and be set for awhile for broadheads. on the edge about deltas and eskimo's too.
I didn't like them as a single bevel, do like them as a double though...
I've used the eskimo's/ black diamond for years and they are bullet proof read "zwickey tough" here. I'm going to the no mercy singles this year because of the reported better tissue damage. I've only had 2 3-packs of zwickeys since the late 70s. Don't lose em n ya never need more.
Harvested a good many hogs with a single bevel no mercy, no head damage.
Killed a nice tom turkey a few years back with a no mercy zwickey. I've used zwickey's for many years, eskimo's, delta's, no mercy's. I like 'em, I can sharpen them, they have got the job done.
While I can't comment on the single bevel. I have used the double bevel " no mercy " now for about 5 yrs. I have taken Deer, hogs, turkeys and numerous stumps...etc. They are great broadheads, as all Zwickeys are! I shoot them on 2117's and 2216's out of a 52# Blacktail.

My experience exactly.
Nothing like a Zwickey to put blood on the ground, still the # 1 selling broadhead we stock!

I've always been a fan of the Deltas due to their width and longer cutting edge. If you like a narrower head, it is easy to narrow the Delta a bit while keeping the cutting length. I killed my first deer with a narrowed version. Zwickey is an excellent and proven broadhead; I wish they were heavier.
Haven't flung one at a critter yet but sharpening them is awkward to me. Having the seam near the tip makes a bumpy transition on the non-beveled side. I went with double bevel NM & Deltas & kept the singles around for practice or small game.
I've always used a Zwickey head. Just started using the single bevel no mercy 2 years ago. I shot a doe with it the first year I used it. It shot clean through her and stuck in the ground about 6" deep on the other side. She ran about 30 yards and fell over. I had a little tougher time sharpening them but all in all I really like them.
The No Mercy is all I've used the last few years. I've killed deer every year, and I can't remember the last time the arrow didn't zip right through.
I didn't care for them myself. I've used delta 4 blades for about 15 years. As far as killin goes, yes they work, but so do the deltas or any other well placed head.
If you like the looks of them, shoot em. Get em sharp and they will do just fine.
