Best sharpening technique for Zwickey Eskimos?
I use the Rada sharpener on all my two blade heads. It may take a little longer on the Zwickeys due to their being on the harder end of the spectrum but once sharp, touch up is a breeze.

I use knife sharpening techniques for sharpening Zwickey broadheads. I give them a convex edge by strop sharpening them on wet/dry automotive sand paper.
What Hackbow said,we sell a bunch of Rada sharpeners, what I use on my Deltas.
Terry
A stone
a good clean file.
File , stone , Lansky and the kme. The last takes the most time but gives the best edge. It also takes a bit of learning.
Remember to strop regardless of method.
X2 on a file.
Rada for me. Not too much pressure, though.
Lansky, followed by light passes on the truck window edge, followed by a strop on jeans leg. But I've gotten them sharp enough with just a file, too. Hard to mess up.
I use a diamond stone for everything
I like to get that triple thick part of the tip even with a file then take them across an accu sharp. I prefer it to the rada
Tru-angle files and a strop.
Used to file them.
Now I use an accusharp...works good.
Accusharp.
File n strop
Kme of course. :biglaugh:
I use a Rada wheel sharpener for my deltas and finish on leather or cardboard. I am not good at sharpening things but with this process I can get them shaving sharp.

Truangle for me
tru angle, then RADA to keep sharp....
Thanks everyone!
I have always used a plain file in the woods, and also the "True Angle" type of sharpener as seen here.
I've always used a file to get the edge set if the head is really dull. Then I use a DMT stone and sharpen like I would a knife. A couple strokes on a crock stick for final touch. I use only two blade heads though.
