bait is out, now we wait

First picture is bait, covered up, stand is right behind me as I take the picture (12 feet up).

Second Picture is the trail (walk) in,  you can see my bait sign down in the trees, bait is about twenty meters past that.

Pond to the left and spruce swamp to the right, I'm just out side city limits (mostly an industrial area).  lots of bears travel through this area along river and up into creeks and beaver ponds looking for a tasty beaver snack.

I'm on a Pine/Aspen ridge running east to west.

In Saskatchewan anyone placing bait on Public Land must place a sign up identifying bait and their contact info.

I didn't have a chance to get out this weekend yet.. yard work and getting boat serviced.  I will try tomorrow if I don't go to farm.

Bad pic (as you know) but that looks like it could be a nice bear.

tried to enhance, but still not great.
this bear is a bigger one, has rub on shoulder already.  other bear is a decent one but shorter, maybe a bigger head.

sat for four hours tonight, then rained me out.  been a very windy last couple weeks, tried sitting a few times but had to get down twice, other times I won't sit in a tree stand.  sat about 10-12 hours this year yet.  this week end I'm away so I guess after that it will be.  Nice to have stand only 15 minutes from work.

here are a few pictures[attachment=1,msg2797291][attachment=2,msg2797291][attachment=3,msg2797291]
