So I have this new bow and it's time to get it adjusted and tuned in.
I have had bows that practically tune themselves and I have had some fussy ones.
But nothing as touchy as this one.
I Found the sweet spot for the brace height and the nock point.
Now a 70-75 shoots just a little weak. A 80-85 is definitely too stiff.
So I twist up a B-55 string, shoot it in, reset the brace height and now the 70-75s are a little stiff. :banghead:
So I put the D-97 back on and too weak.
So back to the B-55 and up the point weight. Too weak.
So D-97 with the heavier point weight and 80-85 arrows. too stiff. :knothead:
Guess the next step is string silencers on the D-97 and hope that will close the gap.
Or I might just try EFOC with the 80-85s. :dunno:
Just venting.......
I think I would see how a 75-80 acts.

My exact thought was "why isn't he trying a 75-80!
That, or shorten the weak shaft just a tad to get it right.

Because I don't have that option without buying more arrows.
And like I said, I was just venting.......
