Title: eskilites
Post by: Slickhead on April 23, 2018, 04:31:37 PM
these are 5/16 but will they work on 11/32 wood shafts and transition well?
Might be a choice for the future
Thanks

They'll work. They won't accommodate all of the taper, but the outside of the ferrule will be about level with the shaft, which makes for a smooth transition, even smoother than a 11/32 Eskimo. With the Eskimo, the thickness of the ferrule is above the plane of the outside of the shaft. That's true with other 11/32 heads as well.  Not enough to worry about though.

I believe you will find 11/32" broadheads work much better on 5/16" shafts than the other way around.
