Title: Roger Rothhaar's book availability - "Whitetail Magic" - and thanks to TradGang
Post by: Ryan Rothhaar on April 17, 2018, 01:20:49 PM
First I wanted to thank everyone who reached out to us after losing both Mom and Dad during a 6 month period, July-January - it has been a bad year for us.  I truly appreciate the thoughts and prayers and the way the traditional bowhunting community reached out, and want to thank everyone on behalf of the family.

After Dad's passing I have had quite a few folks ask about book availability.  We still have some of the 2nd book "Whitetail Magic" on hand, and we are going to continue to sell them at the price Dad always asked, same with honoring vendor bulk price.  I have posted over on sponsor's classifieds with details.

We aren't doing this as a moneymaking thing, but to keep the legacy out there and because we feel bad seeing some people asking ridiculous prices online for the book after his death.  With everything going on...my wife and I both with full time jobs, our own home farm to take care of, and working on getting the estate settled and Dad's farm in Iowa ready to sell and on the market, we are very busy.  I will turn around any book orders ASAP, but please bear with me a little.

We don't have any of the first book "In Pursuit of Trophy Whitetails" available, though we have talked about a reprint if there is enough interest, but that would have to be after the dust settles down in a year or so.

Thanks again, and look over to Sponsor Classifieds or PM me for details.

Ryan

Great idea Ryan, I did see them at crazy high prices as well. I have a copy of Whitetail Magic and it is truly a great book!

That's so cool that you are keeping your Dad's knowledge alive. (and squashing those trying to cash in on his passing)
I have both books with his personal notes in my collection and treasure them among the best.

I didn't realize that your mother had also passed away; and so close to your fathers passing.  So sorry for what you're going through.  It can be really stressful trying to close your parents estate, so hang in there.

I have autographed copies of both your Dad's books.  Learned an awful lot from them.  They are "Must Read" books for anyone wanting to bowhunt whitetails!

I didn't realize your mother had passed as well.  So sorry for your losses! A good idea to continue his legacy.

So sorry to hear of your parents passing. I too have both books, simply great. I don't know how many things your Dad invented, but, by my reckoning the Suffer is a crowning achievement.... I hope someone revives it. God Bless
