After years of looking I finally found a nice Mercury Marauder over 60#. Spits out 2219's with 300 up front with authority. 60xx@28" looks like an early serial #. CQ-72. Came with the 1970 catalog. [attachment=1][attachment=2][attachment=3][attachment=4]

WOW........never saw one that heavy........really nice!!
I thought the Mercury Marauder was a fast car from the 1960's. Turns out it was also a neat bow!
beauty! it's got a super solid lock up system, too.
Mike, your going to love it! Mine has very little difference in cast from 10yds to 30. Great that you could find one like you wanted. If you ever refinish it you will be amazed at how much it has darkened over the years. I am not looking forward to the day mine shoots it's last arrow. In one year with my favorite one I shot a yote, a bobcat, a bear and a whitetail buck. I hope your year is even better!
Nice, I'm working on a painting right now of Jim Dougherty. Now I have some good pics of his bow for reference! I'd like to track down a lefty someday.
Yes I remember the ads in Kittredge Bow Hut catalogue with Jim Daugherty. 'Cat quick and deadly quiet' or something like that was the claim to fame. Cool takedown system.
Really nice find sir!
Good looking bow !
Very nice bow!
Rare find, and in really nice condition as well! Nice score!
