I had a thread awhile back showing the Wool Camo pants from Bean. They sent the wrong waist size.
A phone call later, a new pair was on the way and arrived today. Same problem...they don't fit!
I have a 33" waist, I like room for thermals and I ordered 36"....I can't get them around my waist!! Plus, I turned the label over and they are made in Turkey
I'm returning both pairs and will search the net for my favorite Swiss Army pants...I'll never place another order from Bean again.... :scared:
Hope ya find what you are looking for Joe!!! And real quick like...Hate for you to hunt bunnies wearing only bjk's Speedos... ...

Joe,
A few days ago I picked up a new artic carhartt bibs for $75 shipped.
They have this new thing on some listings where you make an offer..His starting bid was $70 I offered $50 he countered with $60,,,sold... $110 plus tax in stores.
They also have lined and great prices..
Mike whats with this aka?? LOL
Sportsmans guide carries all sorts of military surplus....cheap too. Think I saw sweedish wool pants for something like $14.98. Might hurt ya with shipping in order to have by the hunt though...
I'm sorry to hear that Joe, hope you find something soon my friend.
David
You might take alook at Columbia wool pants
Jamie,
I went there, nothing for us fuller figured guys....
:D
Joe,Go to Dicks.....They have brown cotton Duck brush pants on clearance. I think they are size 36" and I'm pretty sure they cost $20. They would get you buy for the Bunny Hunt.
i have been ordering from LL bean for over 30 years they always made it right if i had a problem with any of there products, always GREAT customer service. BUT i have noticed lately not many of there products still made in the USA.Which is sad.
Joe, I would second the Columbia Wool pants. Good price and they also size their clothes right. A large is really a large!
I'd rather buy from Turkey than China. At least Turkey is our NATO ally.
Hey Guys, I had the same problem with their Maine Hunting boots, it's not the same company I have dealt with in years past. ( Sad To Say )This is just my humble opinion, but I won't be buying from
them from now on. Regards, Carl
Just goes to show what happens when a good "old fashioned" outdoor outfitters company gets "Yuppyfied" :(
(no offense intended)
Good to know.
Basspro had Gallatin wool pants by Columbia on year end close out for 45 dollars. May still be on sale. Would have bought some but already have 2 pair of Woolrich. Good luck.
