Just recently got into trad shooting and picked up a Browning Nomad Stalker 1 and once i felt confident shooting it i took to the woods. I found a dead fall i decided to lean against with in 15 min two mature doe walk in 8 yard shot followed by a 35 yard blood trail layed my trophy. Way to go! I am new also, and seeing as I won't even get to start shooting my bow until this week sometime and have limited time to shoot period I don't know if I'll be able to get out and try to shoot a bear this spring. Definitely hoping to follow your lead and shoot a doe or two this fall!
