Started in the Pine Hills of Nebraska and then moved to the Sandhills in Custer Co. before I got this guy. Had an 8" beard, one spur was 1.25" and the other was 1". Shot him out of a Primos blind with two DSD decoys with my trusty Widow and a Grizzlie head on a 2315 XX75.

Good job! Way to go!
Very nice....the Sandhills are some beautiful country. I'd love to go turkey hunting up there....kill something besides an Eastern...not that there's anything wrong with an Eastern but I sure love the white tips on those Merriams.
