Here's my tapering sled. This first picture was taken before the keeper plates were installed on the sides, but they'll be visible in other pictures.

SWEET!!!! What is the body of the sled made of?
Thanks for posting the pics!!
Shims are placed on the pins to affect any desired taper rate. The pins are received in holes in the top of the sled.

These plates keep it from flexing as it goes through the sander.

If I was selling bows maybe I would build such an engineering piece of marvel. But I doubt it. Cool jig though. The non slip surface is a good one.
Wow, thanks for posting. Bue
Is the second photo the hinge?
Yes.
Now that sure likes a much better mouse trap, U done good
That is a nice piece. that hinge looks plenty strong.
That's a sweet setup Jeff, but I'm gonna stay with my aboo sleds and just check em on the heavier alum. ones sometimes.
I just like the lite easy handling of aboo.
Very gracious of you to post the pictures, dimensions would really be great.
Very nice, Jeff..
That is a sweet set up.
Very nice Jeff! How do we order one? ;)
Send me lots of money :dunno:
:biglaugh:
Nicely done Jeff!
Very cool. Nicely done
What a sweet jig! I was thinking of making something similar but out of wood. This is much nicer. God job!
if you choose to make some and sell them let me know i would get one.
nicely done, very well engineered
I built mine, using steel tubing, cheap to build because I could weld it up in my shop.
I like it Bowjunkie!
