Hi, Everyone,
I recently finished re-tillering a bow I had thought I finished a year ago. It was 59" 48lb @ 24" with an asymmetric tiller. After re-tillering - 44lb @ 28" with a D profile. As the backing had already been glued, I did not heat treat the belly in worry that I may damage the backing.
The bow's inspiration came from Gordon Ferlitsch's hazelnut D bow.

Thank you, thank you for the positive feedback.
Jan Westphal - good eye, indeed, the belly is white in the last pictures. Those were made when I finished tillering and bofore I stained and finished the bow.
Pat B - the fourth picture from top shows the back. I will try to find a close up.
Looks great. That bow nails the primitive look and form, great job!
Really like that. Definately has the look of Gordon Ferlitch's bows
