Here are some pics of a new recurve I designed. It is 58" 45#'s @ 28". The riser is Koa and Macassar Ebony. The veneers are from Troy and are Birdseye Maple and Walnut crotch. I used actionboo for the core wood. Here are a few pics I will try and get some better pics when the wind decides to die down some.

those hooks look wild, would like to see a strung profile, and drawn shot.
The last pic is a strung pic Bigbob. I will get you a full draw pic when I meet up with Chackworth tomorrow and we play with it some.
Is it a static recurve?
Nice looking bow.
Sweet!
Looking forward to it. It turned out sweet!
Awesome work!
Wow! Great looking bow!
Thanks for the compliments. Monterey the tips open up some when drawn so it has working tips.
Good looking bow very elegant.
Those deep dark rich colors really make it stand out.
Looks real nice and with that design it going to be pretty snappy. Kinda resembles a sheepeater
Looking very good :)
Got to shoot it today and it shoots as good as it looks! Very smooth and fast

Here you go Bigbob. Sorry I couldn't get a prettier model for you. Chackworth was all I could afford to pay to model the bow. :knothead:
We tested the bow through a chrono and were getting an average reading of 173 fps on a 10 gpp arrow.

I would say 10.5 gpp at my 26" draw. You still owe me that 6 pack btw... :D
I like it, Tom!!
