Hey guys looking for some stack help I want to build 2 ASL's (one for my father and one for myself) here's my "ideas"
64" ntn
15" riser
Between 1/2" and 3/8" at nocks
1-1/8" at fades
1/2-3/4" back set at 64"
.05 taper rate
5" tip wedges
If you don't like something in the above cause you didn't like your results please share I am open for suggestions.
Thank you all for your help.
That sounds good to me.
What draw weight at what draw length are you shooting for?
I'm hoping for one bow around 48lbs at 26" and one around 55lbs at 27"

Here's a link to one I did last year. Similar specs to what your after. Each time you reduce the stack by .015 you should lose around 5#'s. Not sure about making a 64" bow though.
Maybe .535 and .520 just a guess. I've dealt with Mike Ballenger at 7 lakes before and he was a huge help.
Sounds good, but 64" with a 15" riser on a ASL is a touch on the short side for a 27" draw imo. I think you may be happier at 65 or 66.
Thanks guys, Ben sure is a pretty bow you built
Thanks Kopper.
Ben, does your stack thickness include the glass or is it the wood lams alone?
That's total stack including glass. Jsweka has done a bunch of build alongs on here too that helped me tremendously.
The first link I gave used .040 glass and here's another build that used .050 glass which will help with stack thicknesses
