Title: A new bow for my first bear hunt ( All Done )

Going bear hunting with Jerry Russell in exactly 1 month. So I figured I needed a new bow! Why not?!  Some Beautiful cocobolo and gaboon from Big Jim! Going to do this one on KennyM's form. Changing the riser a little bit to fit my personal liking. The wood in the lams looks like an impressionist painting. Very nice! I can't wait to see the bow.

Think I'll nickname it the Monarch. Reminds me of a monarch butterfly. The floor is now open for everyone's jokes except Roy!

Roy, I knew you couldnt resist! Defiantly going to be sweet, we'll have to see about dainty when I put one right through the ole boiler room on a big ole boar!   :archer2:

Best of luck on your Bear hunt, I have no doubt your bow can get the job done. Keep us updated on e progress.

Thx everyone. Yes sir Kenny, She's a pretty sweet shooter! I took her out today for a 3d shoot to break her in and shot a LOT better than I did last time. The 58"er really fires an arrow!! I think it's the fastest bow I've made. But more importantly it's nice and quiet!
Roy, I got to meet Mark your hunting partner today. He partnererd up with me, my wife and my daughter and shot with us. Had a GREAT time! Super nice man and a load of fun to shoot with! And yes, he beat me!  Lol

awesome...at least Mark is better looking than his partner. might be a good hunting ploy- have the skinny old guy go inta the bush- scare the game out- then the other fella shoot them--- i still have that image burnt into my brain, of roybert half naked, an posing- thats gotta scare the heck outta any living thing!!
