Title: New hot box
Post by: ouachitamac on August 14, 2015, 11:34:00 PM
So here in Arkansas it has been super hot here lately. I climbed in the xterra and it was soooo hot. I am gonna check it tomorrow and see if it gets hot enough to bake the bow when I glue up. Have yall did this before?

Sure.  I've been just leaving mine in the garage on the bench.  As long as it's 70 degrees or so it'll cure in 24 hours just fine.

I cured one last summer in my red Tahoe.  Sitting in the driveway under a clear sky at 5600 feet, it gets very hot!

Put it in at 9:30 AM and left it till the following morning.  No worries.

that sounds like a plan, I do all the work at my dads shop and he has an old vehicle sitting there, just waiting to give birth to a newly formed longbow!
