Title: tip brackets with cable?
Post by: Full Draw Too on July 29, 2015, 03:33:00 PM
Hi Guys, wondering if any of you know how to get a hold of those metal brackets and cable that I see from time to time when shaping the limbs? I guess it eliminates filing string nock grooves in UNTIL the final process when the grooves need to be filed in.I saw a Utube video with Stalker Bows using them and I'm just wondering how to get them or have them made? any help would be greatly appreciated guys..Pat( newbie)

Check out this video for a great example at about 15 minutes in, South Cox made a nice set. Sure would like some myself but I'm not a machinist.

You could easily make a set with just hand tools.
