After 50 + years of smoking 2 packs of camel non filters a day ,it is 2 years this month that I quit. This little baby is my reward.
Not buying cigarettes more then payed for it. :bigsmyl:
I have the same one...you will love it!
I quit for 6 years ...paid for my Harley that way, congratulations !!!!!
:clapper:
That's awesome!
I need some tools. Maybe should take up smoking and then quit. So, if I intend to smoke for ten years but quit after one month do I get nine years and 11 months worth of purchasing power.

:biglaugh:If you can get that past your wife,it sure sounds good to me
Good for you, I quit over 3 years ago and the money not spent on smokes just goes elsewhere so I'm no further ahead in a sense of having more money. Everybody is different.
Really awesome! That's a beauty saw!!
NICE!!
I have the same one except it has foot operated blade brake.
Good for you! Nice looking saw and I bet you feel better not smoking!
That's great.
I just quite 88 days, 9 hours, and 13 minutes ago. After a 25 year stint.

Keep it up.It gets better as time goes by.I can even drink a beer and not think about it now. :goldtooth:
You're gonna love it. I have a different model and it's my favorite power tool in the shop.
Dave.
Now just make sure you get a good vacumn system set up or it will be just as bad as smoking again!
:bigsmyl:  :clapper: :shaka:

Guess you can have it all after all!
Great job man. I quit cold turkey after smoking 2 packs of colts a day for ten years. Never felt better.
Know it's hard but keep it up. Worth it!! More money for exotic woods.
:)
Good for you! Looks like a really, really nice and well deserved reward.
i gave up smoking 'bout 30 year ago, wish I had saved all that money! :knothead: could have bought a whole new workshop with today's cigarette prices. Great effort and well deserved!
Congrats! That's a trade I'd gladly make.
You should move to Norway, then you could REALLY save money. A pack of 20 cigarettes cost US$ 15. Bue--. :scared:
Congrats on both...
That is a BEAST. Wow. Congrats on kicking the habit. This bowmaking habit might be a little tougher...
I quit smoking at age 16 when a pack of smokes went from 25 cents to 27 cents a pack. I thought "that's outrageous, I not paying that much for a pack".
This was over 50 years ago, sometimes being cheap is a good thing.
