Title: rix dye

I am having a hard time finding a grey denatured alcohol dye.I want to dye some maple lams and am wondering if anyone has tried powdered rix dye and denatured alcohol?

Rit Dye will over time fade in sun light. Bingham has gray dye.

If you dilute black leather dye with alcohol you can make any grey hue you wish.
