It has been a while since I posted a bow here so I thought I would show my latest. Wenge and maple riser with black glass and bamboo cores. It came out at 58@28" and I couldn't be happier with how smooth the draw is.
I looked at a lot of proven designs before I made the form for this bow and I tried to incorporate them into this.
Although I really like the looks of the wenge, it was really difficult for me to work with due to the fact that the dust gave me a terrible headache. I wont say that I will never use it for bow wood again, I will say it wont be my first choice....

very nice!!!!
Awesome work, Thad... Very nice.
great looking bow Thad , Drew
Those colors really look nice! Your workmanship looks very good also!
I don't comment a lot in here but when credit is due like it is here I go fer it. That is sweet design and the craftsmenship is very high. I too love the look of wenge but hate working it with the dust and splinters and terrible to fill the pores.
God bless, Steve
Great looking profile Thad. Really turned out nice!!!!
WOW I like everything about that one. That profile is sweet. Love the color combo to.
Super nice Thad!
Thanks for all the kind words guys I really appreciate them ... I will get it back on the tree this morning and get a few pictures of it at full draw.
Kenny, I am looking forward to see what you have come up with on that design...
Great job!!!
Here it is back on the tree.(Tough to hold and get a picture!) I have it at 28" here and you can see my string angle isn't quite 90 deg but its close.... I left it just shy of an 1/8" positive tiller but I think next time I will make them even?
