I'm sure everyone wants to save a little $$$ on their next bow build.
If so, I've got good news for you and since it's really too late for a Christmas Sale I'll just call it my New Years Sale.
Starting Saturday December 27th, 2014 and running through Saturday January 17th, 2015 I'm going to reduce the price on several of the core material laminations I offer.
Hard Maple (locally known as Brown Maple), Black Walnut, Red Elm and Black Locust Tapers (.100" to .125" in .005" increments) and Parallels (.040" to .070" in .005" increments) will be reduced by 20%. That makes them $8.00 pr.
I'm also offering a new material, Sugarberry.
The bow I'm currently shooting has a Sugarberry core and to me it shoots just as well as any Maple core bow I've had.
This is a limited quantity material and once it's gone I can't say it will be offered again.
Sugarberry Tapers (.100" to .125" in .005" increments) and Parallels (.040" to .070" in .005" increments) will be sold with a 30% discount. That makes them only $7.00pr.
Don't miss these savings!!!
Now it's back to the shop to continue grinding laminations for the sale.
Forgot to add that most of the laminations in this sale are 1-3/4" wide. If you need 1-1/2" lamnations just let know and I'll gladly reduce the with free of charge.
Also, unless noted all laminations are 36" long.
Your a good man Troy and your work is superb!
Also forgot to add that if someone doesn't see the thickness of rate per inch taper they need I have extra material and can grind what ever you need.
I basically worked up what I call the heart sizes for now.
The tapers that are ready for the sale are all .002" tapers.
I can grind both .001" and .003" as well.
Well I will be placing on order!
This is awesome.....I'll be ordering!!!
I'll be out of town the 23rd thru the 26th to have Christmas with the family in AL.
I'll be back late on the 26th to get everything ready for the sale.
Thanks Troy I will be ready for an order - already got my list made up! I have used your Sugarberry on three bows now and I really love the feel of the finished product. It draws smooth and shoots fast. I have used your Sugarberry in both of my one piece longbow forms. And now I will put some in my 3 piece take-down. I hope you have a bunch of this wood I would like to make it a standard core material in my bows. It is a good wood plus I just like saying Sugarberry!
Im exited to get my hands on some of that sugar berry

Nice offer there Troy.
If I could afford it, I'd buy bow wood every day, I love aquiring bow wood, but I'd be crazy to order more wood right now. I've got piles of it and my shop isn't done yet... no place to put what I already have :^(
Awesome! Thanks Troy for the savings...You got my order. Now to get ready to build a couple more Sugarberry bows.
Perfect time for a first attempt at bow building. Got it contact with Troy last night who answered a few novice questions then got my order in! Thanks for the help Troy! Cant wait until the materials show up!
You should have received my payment from Palpal today. Never used Sugar berry but will give it a test drive when it gets here, got me about three bows worth while on sale, whew-who! Thanks Troy.
Tony,
Received the order and it will be going out today.
I've been having to hump it to keep up with all the orders. To me it's better to get an order out as quickly as possible. That's why I spent three weeks grinding stock before starting this sale.
Now that's what I am talking about! Sugarberry lams! Thanks Troy I am ready to start the New Year off right!

No rush Troy, I'm sure you have your hands full right now.
Got em yesterday afternoon - thanks Troy!
Only two weeks left on the sale. I've already send out over 150 pairs and still have alot more ready to ship.
Thanks Troy I got my Sugarberry lams Saturday. Now if it will just warm up enough for me to glue them up and test them out.
Know what you mean Tom. This morning it's in the single digits with the windchill well below 0.
The heater in my shop is having to work overtime just to keep it warm enough to cut and grind. Gluing up spliced veneers is out of the question until I can raise the shop temp a little more. Don't want to plug in the electric heater due to running up the power bill.
Only 7 days remain on this Sale. Don't miss this chance to save.
Saturday is the last day of the "SALE".
So far over 300 pairs of lams have found new homes.
Don't miss out!!!
Only two days remain on this SALE.
I received 4 pair of hard maple lams from Troy. Very nice lams...
Today is the last day of the sale.
Don't miss the best savings of the year.
Several of the materials in this sale are stables of bow building while others are new and well worth checking into.
