After MONTHS of only getting to work a hour or 2 a week on my second attempt at this glass stuff i can finally say it's done!! Well except for strike plate, string silencers and maybe a beaver tail handell wrap! Gotta say thx to Big Jim for some great materials and advice! Also thx to Bowjunkie and ole man Roy for tiller advice. Came out 1/8 negative but the nocking point tracts perfect! Shoots like a dream!! 64" ntn, 51# @ 28". Tiger myrtle veneers, tiger myrtle and cocobolo riser with black phenolic. I nick named this one G2 because its my second glass bow! Made it for my cousin. Maybe I won't tell him it's done till after season! :biglaugh:
Nice job dude
Time for #3
Great bow man. Makes me want to make a new form. Very nice
If you would like help figuring out how to correct the tiller, let me know...on this or the next bow's
thanks, bigjim
:clapper: looks great!
I'm all ears Big Jim! I've got nothin but room for improvement!!
Pretty friggin sweet!
Sweet looking bow - love all the wood choices.
Looks super-sweet dude! Haveb`t seen such a red coco but it suits the combo perfectly... really nice!
That's a dandy!
Looks good!
Great job. I like the color/wood combo
Great job Randy! Full draw looks super!!
Sweet! I love that wood combo.
Thanks everyone! Even though it took forever I really enjoyed this build. Tried some new stuff and I really like the out come! Emailed Big Jim today and hatching a plan for the next one. Gonna use the bocote veneers I won from Idaho Curt!
Really sweet bow... Can you tell me what the total stack thickness was and what size of glass on the belly and back.?
love the wood choices. be a shame to cover them with any sort of wrap I feel
Wolftrail, the total stack is 0.40 with .05 glass on both belly and back. Bigbob, that's what I'm having trouble with! I ordered some beaver tail from Big Jim but I haven't made up my mind yet!
The wood can certainly be beautiful, but the beaver adds another level of beauty and style to the bow...plus it just feels and works so "Dam" well!
BIgJim
Ok! You talked me into it!
smokin' color combos. looks sweet!
Very good and a nice color combo. Bue--.
Great looking bow.. That combination of woods sure look good together too..
Outstanding!
Thx everyone,I appreciate the nice comments but I can't take credit for the wood colors! I picked the combo but Big Jim suggested that red cocobolo. Said he had some that was almost red and was really well seasoned, so I've gotta give credit to him for the colors! Thx Big Guy!!!

Had a young coyote come to within 5 yrds but couldn't make an ethical shot because of the thick brush. Still a blast to get that close and it never knew I was there. That's what it's all about!
Man that's beautiful! You did an excellent job on it and I think that beaver tail really brings it all together nicely.

Yep!! What he said!!
Wow!! That came out great!
By the way...at least in my opinion, all shots on yote's are ethical!
Nice job on the Beave!
